Dark Mode in iPhone and iPad
Hello Guys, One of the coolest feature introduced by Apple in its latest iOS 13 release is dark mode. This makes iPhone screen to look dark which provides great viewing experience especially in night and low light conditions. Once you enable dark mode then default light theme of an iPhone turns black and color of text becomes brighter for better visibility. This will make less strain in your eyes when you using it in low light conditions. Dark Mode is available in both iOS 13 and iPadOS. The best part is Apple's own suit of apps support dark mode out of the box and Apps developed by third party developers will start supporting dark mode functionality once they push new updates to their apps after integrating dark mode related code .

You can enable dark mode in your iPhone and iPad in many ways. So without wasting any more time let's find out what are the different ways to enable dark mode in iPhone and iPad having iOS 13 and iPad OS.

    Benefits of using Dark Mode.
As we are now aware of how to enable dark mode in our iPhone and iPad having iOS 13 , Now Let's see what are the benefits of using Dark Mode.
    • Dark Mode put less strain on your eyes when you are using in low light environment.
    • It increase battery life because it takes less power for OLED (Organic light emitting diode) screens to emit dark color than brighter ones. However Apple didn't list explicitly this an advantage. But this is certainly true for OLED screens not for LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) screens because in OLED, every pixel light up to create an image . So when you turn on the Dark Mode your phone shuts off the pixels you don't need . While  in case of LCD screens, it uses backlight regardless of any color scheme.More difference between LCD and OLED can be found at Difference between LCD and OLED in iPhones

    • Whenever you use mail, books or safari , the text will appear mostly white in dark backgrounds making it easier for you to read.
I hope you had enjoyed this article 🙂 and now you will be able to enable Dark Mode in your iPhone with few clicks. Also check my post what's new features introduced by Apple in iOS 13 to know some other cool features of iOS 13.

Lifecycle of React Native Component [2020 Edition]

What are the life cycle methods of React Native Component? A component's life cycle in React Native can be divided into 4 phases: React Native Component life cycle phases Mounting:  In this phase,  component instance is created and inserted into the DOM. Updating: In updating phase, a react component is said to be born and it start growing by receiving new updates. Unmounting: In this phase, a react component gets removed from actual DOM. Error Handling: It is called when any error occurs while rendering the component. Now let's discuss about different methods that gets called during these phases. Mounting phase Below are the methods which gets called when instance of component is created and inserted into the DOM. SOLID Design Principles in Swift

What are solid principles in programming world? 5 SOLID design principles in swift SOLID is acronym used in software programming for making software design more understandable, flexible, scalable and maintainable.  Every Software Developer must be aware of 5 SOLID principles in order to deliver good quality code SOLID stands for what? S -  Single Responsibility principle O - Open Closed Principle L - Liskov substitution Principle I - Interface segregation Principle D - Dependency Inversion Principle If we apply 5 SOLID principles while creating iOS/Mac Apps then the benefits which we will get are as follow: ·       We will have flexible code which can be changed easily. ·       Software code becomes more reusable. ·       Software developed will be robust, scalable and stable. ·       Code is loosely couple which means dependency between the elements is low. Now let’s discuss each principle one by one. 1.)  Single Responsibility Principl
